Compared to Sony’s flagship A1, the A7 IV is a more budget-friendly alternative. The A1 has a 50MP sensor, 30fps burst shooting, and the absolute best autofocus Sony offers, but it also costs nearly three times as much. If you’re a professional sports or wildlife photographer who needs the absolute best speed and resolution, the A1 is worth it. But for most people, the A7 IV delivers incredible quality at a much more reasonable price.
