Coffee + Milk = Necessity
Coffee is a big necessity for me in the morning, but it goes a lot better if I add milk to dilute the acid. After a dozen GI procedures and two major stomach surgeries, I probably should cut coffee out but my willpower just isn’t that strong!
In May of 2020, I upgraded my milk frother to the Breville Milk Cafe Milk Frother.
Why I Love It:
First of all, it’s even easier to clean because it’s dishwasher safe. My preference is always for something that can go in the dishwasher!
Another pro is that it’s easier to pour. You have more control over the temperature, and you can froth more milk. If you’re frothing for multiple coffees, this is more appealing. Also, it has a smaller lid on the top that you can open to pour the syrup (or anything) in slowly, but I’m too lazy to do this.
My favorite syrup so far is the Salted Caramel from Torani. They have a pretty extensive website, including recipes and gift sets, so check out their website!
CONS:
The cons for the Breville Milk Cafe is that it’s not silent (although not unreasonably loud) and it does take up more room on the counter. The design still fits in nicely, though. The other con, of course, is that it retails at $150.
