Most importantly, the Jumper backpack is amazing for traveling- in 2023 it traveled with me to Greece, Turkey, Israel, South Africa, all over Southern California, airports, and more.
Which size should you consider purchasing?
I love this bag so much, that I have both sizes: regular (18L) and large (22L).
If you have longer lenses, I’d recommend the large version (22 liters). For my Fuji cameras, the regular (18 liters) was way more than I needed. Currently using the large with my Sony gear.
For photographers using mirrorless cameras with smaller lenses, or APS-C bodies, the regular size should be perfect. If you’d like to see a video of the regular bag with a Fuji camera on my Instagram profile highlights, click here.
Is it waterproof?
I’ve read reviews that it is not waterproof (which I’m curious about the definition of this… are people submerging their bags in water?)
But I can tell you from experience it’s certainly water resistant. My large Jumper backpack was in the rain for many hours in South Africa and the inside was completely dry. Was NOT expecting that!!
While I have tried almost every camera bag on the market, I always go back to this one.
